History of College
Government Arts and Science College, Sivakasi was founded in the year 2013. The primary aim of the institution is to provide quality education to the learners of the downtrodden sections of the society living in and around Sivakasi and the majority of the students belong to the first generation learners. We take immense pleasure in being the first Government College established in Virudhunagar district. In its inception, the college functioned in SRV College of Education and moved on to permanent building inaugurated by Honorable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu on 12.10.2015 through video conferencing.
