MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) BETWEEN DEPARTMENT OF ZOOLOGY,
GOVT. ARTS & SCIENCE COLLEGE, SIVAKASI.

| The students can undergo project under the guidance from the experts of the BEE HONEY and time duration is as per the University norms. | BEE HONEY can invite the faculty members of COLLEGE to give training for their stake holders. | This MoU will take effect from the date it is signed by the representatives of the BEE HONEY and COLLEGE. |
| COLLEGE can invite the experts and authorities of the BEE HONEY for guest lecturers and to act as Resource Persons for functions of COLLEGE to share their experience and practical knowledge with the students. | BEE HONEY can use the infrastructure of the COLLEGE for carrying their new projects, minor promotional activities and to have a sales point during workshops and special occasions | This MoU will valid for five years and may be continued thereafter suitable review and agreement. |
| The faculty members will get training from the BEE HONEY in the COLLEGE regarding the Research Methodology, Research Publications and Extension Activities. | BEE HONEY can get the guidance and direction for their Scholars from COLLEGE. BEE HONEY can get suggestion from COLLEGE for their expansion activities in the field of Research. | This MoU will end on mutual consent by BEE HONEY and COLLEGE. |
| COLLEGE can use the BEE HONEY to do innovative projects in beekeeping and related activities. COLLEGE can carry out consultancy work from the BEE HONEY. | BEE HONEY can use COLLEGE to conduct surveys for identification of general issues in the market. | This Memorandum of Understanding is prepared in two identical copies; each party will hold one original duly signed. |

| The primary objective of this MOU is to create research collaboration between the institutes. To jointly propose and engage in research or training programmers as per national priorities sponsored by funding agencies; and to invite each other’s scientists/ faculty members to participate therein. To exchange the information on research with due approval of the competent authority of institutes. To jointly organize short-term continuing education programmers on topics of mutual interest and to invite each other’s scientist/faculty to participate therein. To jointly organize seminars, conferences or workshops on topics of mutual interest and to invite each other’s scientist/faculty to participate therein. To any other research activities that both the institutes agreed to be mutual benefited. To jointly organize training sessions, orientation programs, conferences or workshops on topics of mutual interest and to invite each other’s students to participate therein. To assist students from both colleges with their project/course work | There is no financial commitment between the institutes. If there is any financial consideration, both institutes will discuss and finalize at the time of execution. For the visit related to advice and consultancy, travel and other expenses shall be worked out by the concerned institute. Both institutes use the library facility for each other. Both institutes agree to help, identify and to invite faculty members and researchers from the other institutes to participate in conferences, seminars, workshops and short term courses. Institutes are responsible to obtain all internal approvals, consents and permissions of whatsoever nature required. |
Property Nothing contained in this MOU shall, by express grant, implication, estoppel or otherwise create in either party any right, title, interest or license in or to the intellectual property (including but not limited to knowhow inventions, patents, copy rights, designs) of the other party 4. Validation Period This MOU unless extended by mutual written consent of the institutes shall expire in five years after the effective date specified in the opening paragraph. However, on review, the MOU shall be extended for another two years by mutual consent. |
